The Site Plan
On 12 December 2018, the Maharishi Vedic University Foundation signed a hundred-year land lease on behalf of European Mother Divine.
Our Vastu architect Dipl. Ing. Christian Schweizer and his team have done a remarkable job by combining site qualities and the needs of the future inhabitants with local style features and Sthapātya Veda principles.
East and West Elevation
The orientation of a building has an easily-measurable impact on the quality of life of its occupants. The sun’s energy is most nourishing when it is rising. East-facing buildings bring the greatest benefits to the health and success of their inhabitants.
Right proportion and measurement are key to a successful design. They strengthen the connection of our individual intelligence with Cosmic Intelligence.
Floor Plan and Cross-Section
The sun’s course determines the order and placement of rooms for various daily activities within the buildings.
The sun has differing qualities of energy as it moves across the sky. Vastu buildings are designed so that the differing activities that its inhabitants perform within the various rooms of a home are aligned with the appropriate quality of the sun.
The Facility Building
The U-shaped annex will contain the kitchen, dining hall and course facilities with 12 rooms for guests. In three additional rooms Maharishi Ayurveda treatments will be offered.
The provision of a meditiation and a lecture hall as well as other annex facilities offers a well balanced experience for mind and body to all visiting course participants.
