European Mother Divine
Women from diverse professional, cultural, religious, national and socio-economic backgrounds commit to a life of meditation, developing happiness, creativity, well-being, peace and progress for themselves and society by practicing the group programme of Transcendental Meditation.
Since we focus full-time on meditation, we have appointed an Advisory Board to implement the building project and have put Maharishi Vedic University Foundation in charge of the building’s finances.
The Building Advisory Board
The Advisory Board for the Maharishi Vāstu Building project is guiding our efforts to realize our new home. They collaborate with architects, local authorities, construction companies and landscapers.
Members of the advisory board are (clockwise): Conny Postel, our project leader, Cretien Jung, Martina Bergmann, Doris and Dr. Roman Schmidt-Maisch.
Maharishi Vedic University
Maharishi Vedic University (MVU) is a charitable foundation registered in The Netherlands. It focuses on research and on teaching Maharishi Vedic Science. MVU aims to integrate this ancient holistic knowledge with the most advanced present-day scientific findings.
MVU is currently focusing on raising funds for the construction of a new home for European Mother Divine. Your donations to MVU from The Netherlands are tax-deductible.
The Fundraising Team
To effectively raise the 13,5 Million Euro required for the project, we have invited an external team of experienced fundraisers —among them major donors to the building: Conny Postel and Martina Bergmann. The team is extended by liaisons in every country who help raise funds and find potential donors who have a special place in their heart for Mother Divine.
Our team has had excellent results over these first years thanks to the heartwarming generosity of many donors, who have made it possible to meet the legal, governmental, and environmental requirements and fees, as well as the lease on the land. We are so grateful for the support we have had so far.
